Pedestrian Struck By Car While Crossing Street
An Essex County superior court judge awarded $370,000 to a 17-year-old Millburn High School senior for injuries he sustained while crossing Millburn Avenue in front of Millburn High School on December 13, 2009. The plaintiff was struck, as a pedestrian, by a gray BMW. He was rushed to Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey, and underwent a right frontal parietal craniotomy for a depressed skull fracture with epidural hematoma. Fortunately, he made an excellent recovery, has graduated from Millburn High School, and plans to attend college in the fall of 2012. Proceeds from the settlement will be more than sufficient to pay for his entire college and graduate-school education.

The firm’s principals, Gabriel R. Lependorf and David E. Silverstein, have each been representing injured victims in the State of New Jersey for over thirty years.
