As a high school senior who is preparing to enter college in the fall, you are facing a time of great growth and learning. You are entering the period when you will determine where and how you fit into society. Part of that, we hope, is figuring out how you will contribute to make the world a better place for those to come.

A large part of that plan will probably revolve around your higher education, just as it did for Gabriel Lependorf and David Silverstein, founding attorneys of Lependorf & Silverstein, P.C. We answered a calling to help others, and investing years in higher education provided both of us with the skills and knowledge that we needed to do just that. After college, law school prepared us to advocate for those who had been injured and needed professional help to get the compensation that was owed to them.

We are proud to say we are products of New Jersey public schools. That’s why we want to help up-and-coming students with our 2018 scholarship.

The requirements are as follows:

• You have earned, or will earn in the 2017-2018 school year, your high school diploma.
• You have maintained a 3.0 overall GPA (or higher).
• You are a U.S. citizen or hold the status of Permanent Resident.
• All entry fields in the scholarship application PDF have been filled in.
• The essay portion of the application is completed, including both entry fields.
