As a high school senior who is preparing to enter college in the fall, you are facing a time of great growth and learning. You are entering the period when you will determine where and how you fit into society. Part of that, we hope, is figuring out how you will contribute to make the world a better place for those to come.

A large part of that plan will probably revolve around your higher education, just as it did for Gabriel Lependorf and David Silverstein, founding attorneys of Lependorf & Silverstein, P.C. We answered a calling to help others, and investing years in higher education provided both of us with the skills and knowledge that we needed to do just that. After college, law school prepared us to advocate for those who had been injured and needed professional help to get the compensation that was owed to them.

We are proud to say we are products of New Jersey public schools. That’s why we want to help up-and-coming students with our 2018 scholarship.

Tough Jobs Take Training

Injuries, emotional trauma, and stress are all part of the daily life of an accident victim. It is very easy for these mounting issues to break the spirit of even the strongest individuals. But with the help of skilled professionals, accident victims are given the hope, encouragement, and assistance that they need to regain their lives.

Each of these shattered lives is put back together by the hard work of professionals who graduated from law school, medical school, or one of hundreds of other institutions of higher learning in this country.

So as you are planning your future and working to finance the education that will get you there, consider applying for the 2018 scholarship opportunity from Lependorf & Silverstein, P.C. The deadline for application is May 9, 2018, so don’t delay.

The requirements are as follows:

  • You have earned, or will earn in the 2017-2018 school year, your high school diploma.
  • You have maintained a 3.0 overall GPA (or higher).
  • You are a U.S. citizen or hold the status of Permanent Resident.
  • All entry fields in the scholarship application PDF have been filled in.
  • The essay portion of the application is completed, including both entry fields.

This is our way of thanking the people who are willing to work hard to earn a higher education and use that knowledge to help others and make this world a better place. We wish the best to our candidates, and good luck!

We will announce a winner on June 13, 2018.

The firm’s principals, Gabriel R. Lependorf and David E. Silverstein, have each been representing injured victims in the State of New Jersey for over thirty years.
