David E. Silverstein is a personal injury attorney, with a subspecialty in bicycle cases, with over thirty years of experience. As an avid cyclist he is often seen commuting to work on his bicycle. This gives him a special understanding of the needs of all injury victims, especially cyclists. David applies passion and dedication to helping injured individuals overcome the obstacles and pain created by a significant, life changing injury. Since the beginning of his legal career, David has fought for the underdog and is empowered by his opportunity to assist those who wish to access the justice system.

David is competitive in every aspect of his life. As a seasoned adventure racer and mountaineer for his entire adult life, David understands the importance of planning, training, and executing. Both of these pursuits require extensive research, grueling training regiments, and precise orienteering. Navigation skills usually make the difference between success and failure. These pursuits also provide physical and mental challenges over an extended period of time. These identical traits are required in handling a significant personal injury case. A commitment to excelling in both his personal and professional life helps David better serve his clients and helps them prevail in court.
Calling New Jersey Home
A lifetime resident of Princeton, New Jersey, David graduated from The Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey in 1984. He received his B.A. in English from Princeton University in 1988 and he received a joint J.D. /M.B.A. from Emory University in 1993. While at Princeton, David was a member of the Princeton University Rugby Football Club as well as the Men’s Squash team. He followed his passion for rugby through graduate school where he was a member of the Emory University Men’s Rugby Club. David is a past board member of the Princeton University Center for Jewish Life and a current board member of Tiger Inn, a Princeton University eating club. Mr. Silverstein is a lifelong resident of Princeton, New Jersey where he continues to reside with his wife and three sons.
David at La Plata Peak, the fourth highest peak in Colorado, at the elavation of 14,343 feet. Located in the Sawatch Range outside of Leadville, CO.
August 2nd, 2022: David on the summit of Mt. Sneffels, a 14,158 foot peak in the San Juan Mountains located outside of Telluride Colorado. It is considered a class 3 climb.

NEW JERSEY STATE TRIATHLON
David cycling and crossing the finish line of the NJ State Triathlon in 2019.
David Silverstein succeeded in finishing the New Jersey State® Triathlon on July 20, 2019. The event was held at Mercer Park, and Mr. Silverstein kept company with 3,499 other triathletes. He specifically competed in the Sprint Distance course. This race is continually voted one of the top five triathlons in America, and has sold out every year since its inception.

David Silverstein recently conquered the fourth highest peak in Colorado, reaching the peak of La Plata on August 1. Located just outside Leadville, the mountain is one of Colorado’s famed “14ers,” known for their elevation reaching over 14,000 feet above sea level.
